"The Golfer's Rubáiyát"

In an effort to understand the art and science of Bowlbetterology, it is often helpful that we study alternative methods. Please read on as I continue my exploration of the Way of Better Golf.

Henry Walcott Boynton’s “The Golfer’s Rubáiyát” is a seventy-nine part work of poetry, in the Persian style of the Ruba’i (quatrain), which acts as a private treatise on the core values of the Better Golfer and their curious mythology. As a work of myth, it is comparable in many respects to Samuel Clinge’s “Marshal of the Heavens” or Al Rav’s “Cosmic League.”

The PDF linked above includes the complete text of the work, and should be downloaded and read as a part of this series because I will be referencing it through out the course of my study. As always, if you have any questions about the contents of any posts I make about Bowlbetterology (or Better Golf, the Subgenius, etcetera), do not hesitate to email bowlbetterology@brenico.com.
